Mkomazi National Park

Mkomazi National Park is one of Tanzania’s newest national parks, and is part of the largest trans-border national park in the world, almost 26,000 sq kilometers including Kenya’s Tsavo East and West National Parks.

An immense area in which to explore one of northern Tanzania’s last wildernesses, a place well off the beaten path, with few facilities and even fewer tourist hordes. Mkomazi is perfect for those sated on the wildlife experiences of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro.

Mkomazi is also home to two endangered species, the black rhino and African wild dogs.
