Our 5 Day Classic Safari combines the comfort of lodging and tented camping forming the perfect adventure for a first-time safari-goer, and we guarantee by the end of your Northern circuit journey you will be eagerly awaiting your return to Tanzania. We start the safari with a soft introduction of game viewing through the flora dense, Lake Manyara National Park; well known for the Tree Climbing Lions and paradise for an ornithologist. The following four days are spent exploring two UNESCO World Heritage Sites; the World renowned and possibly best safari park in the World, Serengeti National Park and the World’s largest Caldera, Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During our 5 Day Classic Safari, you will experience the excitement of game viewing, with the possibilities of viewing the Big 5 throughout jaw-dropping scenery with the comfort of lodging and tented camping or glamping.
Big 5 Safari Itinerary
Day 1 – Lake Manyara National Park
8:00 AM pick-up from your accommodation in Arusha. Spend the afternoon game viewing at Lake Manyara NP. Dinner & overnight at Karatu’s Rhotia Valley Tented Camp.
Day 2 – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart across the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Conservation Area into the Serengeti. Afternoon game viewing. Dinner & overnight at Tanzania Pure Luxury Tented Campsite.
Day 3 – Serengeti National Park
Full day exploring the Serengeti for big cats. Options include a picnic lunch or early-morning and late-afternoon game drives. Dinner & overnight at the campsite.
Day 4 – Ngorongoro Highlands
Enjoy a final Serengeti morning, then drive to Ngorongoro. Take a crater rim walk with an NCAA ranger. Dinner & overnight near crater rim.
Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater
Early descent into the crater for a picnic game-viewing lunch. Afterwards, return to Arusha by late afternoon.

INCLUDED: This is a Private safari with all game viewing in a 4WD Landrover or Landcruiser with English speaking guide, All accommodations mentioned on the basis mentioned, all park fees and conservation fees, unlimited kilometres on game drives, unlimited drinking water in Safari vehicle, all walking safaris and night drives as stated. Flights and transfers as mentioned.
