What we look for before recommending a luxury camp
A beautiful room does not compensate for being in the wrong part of the park. We first look at wildlife location, access to game-viewing areas and how the camp fits the route. After that come the details that make a luxury safari feel effortless: good food, thoughtful hosting, comfortable rooms, privacy and a team that notices what guests need without fuss.
Tanzania works throughout the year, but it does not look or feel the same in every month. Calving season, the dry season and the migration crossings each call for different routing. We usually favour fewer stops and more time in the right places, rather than adding parks simply to make the itinerary look longer.
The itineraries above show routes that work, not packages you must follow. Our Arusha-based team checks current rooms, camp rates and flights before preparing a proposal. We are independent of the camps, so if a famous property is poorly placed for your dates—or simply poor value—we will recommend a better fit.
