2. Olakira Serengeti

This intimate mobile tented camp follows the wildebeest migration herds all year. From December to March, it can be found at Ndutu for stunning river crossings; from June to November, it moves northward to an outstanding site from where shearing can be witnessed on the plains.

Olakira offers 9 spacious and comfortable tents equipped with flush toilets and safari showers, designed to maximize stargazing opportunities, with parts of each bed clad with mesh that lets in sunlight.

3. Sabora Serengeti

Singita Sabora Serengeti is an intimate yet luxurious explorers’ camp. Comprised of only nine tents, its decor recalls 1920s safari travel chests and Persian rugs for an authentic safari experience.

Each en suite tent offers a four-poster bed, writing table, and private veranda. Indoor lounges feature sofas and classic campaign furniture alongside wildlife art collections.

Grumeti Reserve lies along the Serengeti and offers year-round game-viewing opportunities. Activities at this eco-safari include game drives, guided walks, and bush picnics – with spa services also available if desired.

4. Lamai Serengeti

Lamai Serengeti lies at the northernmost end of Serengeti National Park and features rooms built around large boulders that overlook its plains. This luxury tented camp is situated in the Wogakuria region of northern Serengeti near Mara River – making it an excellent location to watch wildebeest migration crossings from June through November. Each tent here boasts generous space, making this camp one of the more private camps found here.

The main lodge is situated atop wooden decking and boasts breathtaking views of the landscape – it even features a large circular bar featuring a wine wall! Children are welcome.

6. Nduara Serengeti

This semi-mobile luxury tented camp moves twice each year; from July to November, it resides near the Mara River; from December to March, it moves onto Ndutu plains for game viewing and outstanding guiding services. This gives visitors access to both areas for maximum game viewing pleasure.

7. Serian Serengeti

This seasonal camp can be found in the southern Serengeti, an expanse of seemingly limitless plains and acacia woodland dotted with huge granite kopjes. At this intimate camp, guests are treated to an authentic safari experience complete with excellent wildlife viewing through a private guide.

Eight spacious tents boast comfortable beds with subtle lighting and seating areas; their en-suite bathrooms include a flush loo and bucket shower. Delectable meals are served in the candlelit mess tent. Activities at the camp include day and night drives, guided walks, bush picnics & sundowners.

8. Laikipia Serengeti

Laikipia is famed for being home to the Great Wildebeest Migration each year, but also an oasis for Grevy’s Zebra and reticulated Giraffe, both species that thrive here. You may spot them grazing alongside Thomson’s gazelle, waterbuck, and eland at Lewa or lounging by Loisaba’s sublime black pool.
