Day-by-day itinerary
This ten-day route is a starting point. Nights, camps and activities can all be adjusted.
Day 1Tarangire National Park
Meet your private guide in Arusha and travel to Tarangire for an afternoon game drive among baobabs, elephants and seasonal wildlife concentrations.
Day 2Tarangire National Park
Explore Tarangire more deeply, with the option of a guided walk and an evening night drive for a different view of the ecosystem.
Day 3Lake Manyara National Park
Travel to Lake Manyara for game viewing and birdlife, with an optional Maasai cultural visit en route before continuing to the Karatu highlands.
Day 4Serengeti National Park
Cross the Ngorongoro highlands and descend onto the Serengeti plains, game viewing as you travel towards a camp selected for your season.
Days 5–6Serengeti migration area
Two flexible days following the strongest wildlife activity. Choose full-day drives with a picnic or separate morning and afternoon outings.
Day 7Serengeti National Park
Continue through the Serengeti with a full day of private game viewing, moving towards the central plains where appropriate.
Day 8Central Serengeti
Explore the Seronera area, known for reliable year-round wildlife and a particularly strong concentration of big cats.
Day 9Ngorongoro Highlands
Final Serengeti game viewing before entering Ngorongoro, with an optional crater-rim walk depending on timing and conditions.
Day 10Ngorongoro Crater and Arusha
Descend to the crater floor for wildlife viewing, then return to Arusha or continue to Kilimanjaro Airport for an evening departure.
